Case Study

I decided to do on a Case Study on a website similar to my organisation.

Source: http://www.passagesmalibu.com/

Who are they:

Passages is non-profitable  Alcohol and Drug AddictionTreatment center which is located

Thier Website:

The website that they have is rich in information about their news, their vision, mission and also the products such as supplements and books that they provide. Images is very helpful for websites as visitors always catch the attention of the picture.

Their Facebook Group:

This organization uses social media tools to enhance their interactivity with the public and gain more attention from them. By having a Facebook page, they will post updates about their blog entries on their wall , news feed,  where the public can be fans and follow their new updates. Also users of facebook are entitled to voice out their comments on their wall which is in turn able to help the company improve it’s services. This is what I called involving the community.

Their Blog:

They have a blog where the company will post updates on the tips about drug and alcohol addiction, ways of preventing it and also the services that they have recently offered. This will help the public to learn more about addictions prevention . Having a blog, this will make the public to come to the site more often as they have a consistently updated blog. The blog is to post more detailed information about the updates of the events, or have a talk of the month , or even post entires about tips and symptoms of addictions , ways of preventing it.  Also if you take a look at the right hand corner there are icons leading to their facebook group, twitter accounts, youtube channel and etc.

Their Video Channel:

Their youtube channel showcases what the company is about and the services being provided. The reason for using youtube is because youtube has a statistics of 15% of people in the who visits youtube every week.
